I am 45 years old. I am a mum of 4 kids, living in the city centre of Vienna. It has been a while that I wanted to start writing about my life. I tried so many things to find my happiness. One of the things that brought me happiness was finding the right partner: my husband. Finding someone to share important decisions with and who is there to decide everything with me is BIG.
Together we have 2 children. My first 2 children were there before he came. When he entered my life they were 4 and 7. Clara my eldest daughter will graduate this year. She is now 17.
The thing I discovered about my Happiness in the last month is that sleeping a lot really helps me. The more I sleep the less I worry. About 30 days ago I started a meditation habit. I set a timer and lie down. I usually fall asleep. This has boosted my joy.
Health is a big one for me. I try not to drink alcohol. I drink cold pressed juices with lots of ginger and spicy ingredients.
Lately my sports routine consists of Pilates on Wednesdays in a studio nearby with a private coach. I also train strength (my physio gave me exercises) and running with an online coach.
Meeting new people online has been big for me. I met many like-minded people on the Better App by Gretchen Rubin. I try to write to those friends daily.
I have been fsscinated by Minimalism. I started budgeting a few years ago. My spending for retail is down to zero. We still have costs because things break, we buy food but I don‘t spend just to spend.
Happiness is what we do daily. What brings us joy should be done daily. This will strengthen our muscle for doing good. Being there for others. Listening.
