In the past I had a problem what to write about publicly. Now I am realizing there are thousands of themes on my mind that could use discussion with others. For example I am a bit envious of people who are blogging on Wordpress. This site is on Squarespace and I am not sure yet how I will make things work. I guess they have an excellent email support so everything will be easy.
My domain name is another thing. I am not sure if Nina Levett will work for me. I am tempted to try something new. That will have to wait.
I think as soon as I start blogging things will be easier. I will „know“ what to write. Everything will fall into place.
Two things that come to my mind are my exercise routine and eating. Those seem small but I think I should write my thoughts about my habits and health routine.
We have a cook so I could tell her to make anything. I might need to dive deeply and see what I would like to eat.
I am looking for new aupairs for my children but I missed so much time with them already. I need to start today: at 15:00 I will pick them up. I want to document their lives. Record everything they say everything they do.
Another big one: meeting my dad. I will call him and meet him one of these days. This is a big one for me.
Yes, this blog is for me. Curious to know what you think.
I might want to make videos. I thought of the 5x5 format. 5 clips of 5 seconds and doing a voice-over. I did a course about color correcting videos last year. I was thinking black and white might be nice for this blog.
If you want to do something really life-changing sign up for the Happiness Project Experience course by Gretchen Rubin. Twelve months of happiness for a super low price.
Another recommendation is to listen to one of Tara Brach‘s talks on the Insight Timer App. It is about Addiction and the demons gnawing at us. What she also says is that we need groups, we need to connect. This is what my blog should be: an invitation to connect.
Last thing: podcasting and writing a book. And doing a retreat in our house on the lake. These are my long-term goals. Anyone interested in joining a summer meditation retreat in Austria?
